Franciscan Ivy on the porch

Last week I mentioned that I had set two tables for a ladies’ tea but got no photos, so I recreated both as luncheon tables on the porch using each setting and shared the Noritake Chandova table. Today, I’m sharing the Franciscan Ivy paired with hot pink.

I used vintage silk sarees to cover the table and inspire the color palette.

Wallace Louvre sterling flatware from 1893 adds a little sparkle, and Fostoria Moonstone glassware brings out the pink.

Pink damask napkins really tie everything together and pop against the green and cream. I love the texture of the jute placemats. These were Walmart finds, and I love the square shape as they don’t take up as much space as a traditional placemat.

I placed an orchid into the Ivy tureen for a simple but dramatic centerpiece.

Pink kilim pillows from the Kilim Pillow Store add softness and color to the seating.

A colorful Indian rag rug softens the bench.

I’m hoping to get the porch pressure washed now that the pollen has lessened a bit. It’s a big project, but one that has to be done:-)

Well this table setting is simply gorgeous! The rich pink of the textiles is perfect with your Ivy dishes. I love Franciscan dishes:) and the pink glasses are the perfect touch.

What a lovely table with the contrast of green and brightest fuchsia.

My husband's Aunt Grey had those dishes. I loved when we were invited to lunch and she served a meal on them.

    Oh! The orchids.

Anita, what I love most about this table is that it is full of color and texture, yet your dishes are don't get lost in the setting. In fact, the bright colors make the beautiful ivy vines shine as the stars. Love the look of this alfresco setting. It's perfection!

I'm afraid that if I sat down here for lunch, you'd have to use a prybar to get me away.

I love it!! I have almost every piece made for Ivy. I began collecting it 44 years ago when I was 14 and still love it as much now as I did then. Your table is lovely!!

What can you not love about that gorgeous table and that view. Have always loved that pattern and mixed with the great pops of pink sends the table over the top. Beautiful Anita!

Oh what a beautiful table, Anita! The colors are so pretty and the dishes blend so well! Of course I always LOVE your view from your deck, and it makes me miss my old deck. We went with Trex here at this house so we never have to pressure wash or stain again! Whew, that was always a big job. Have a beautiful weekend!
