Thanksgiving on a budget

People sometimes tell me they don’t have nice china and linens, to which I say, “bah humbug!” You don’t need any of that to set a pretty table, and you can use what you already have or items from thrift shops and garage sales.

To prove my point, I took the table I set last week, you can see it HERE, and re-set it using thrifted and everyday items.

It’s all in the details…

You can see how I did it on the video:-)

I could not agree more! Besides, I find tables that are put together with things we have on hand turn out far more interesting anyway. Necessity is the mother of invention đŸ˜‰

You definitely proved it. Really, don't most of us have pretty things that we just never take out? I do.

Tis' true, it is more about the love with which a meal is prepared and shared than what it's eaten on… nice said!

Ah! It's the door in the picture that captured my eye. I so admire your home!

I couldn't agree more. Plus isn't it about those that surround the table that bring the beauty to the table. I love a beautiful set table, but my family and friends that gather around with conversation, laughter while filling their bellies means the world to me. I agree with above comments, use what you have…it can be done and you've proved it!!
