Christmas Porch

Thought I would share the last of the photos that I shot for Romantic Homes that did not make the article. Plus, we sure haven’t had snow yet, so I haven’t even taken any photos of this year’s porch.

I actually tried a couple different things out here and moved things around, because, obviously, things don’t always translate to a photo. I styled the porch from both sides just to give them some options.

It was also about 18° when I shot these, so I was ready to get this done.

I used a plaid blanket as the jumping off point then went with pink and fuchsia grosgrain ribbons and fresh greenery.

The wreathes on the doors are actually faux, but I always embellish them with fresh greenery and no one knows they are not real.

I brought out pillows from inside to make things cozy.

I am so glad I waited patiently for snow because it sure made things magical:-) I only wish we had some now!

Hi Anita, I always love seeing your porch, no matter what the season, but it's especially wonderful with the snow! That bright pink and fuchsia make it such one-of-a-kind decor! Have a wonderful Christmas!

Your porches just always grab me and pull me in. I can see myself rocking and sipping whatever drink is seasonal at the time.
    Absolutely beautiful Anita.
May your Christmas be snowy and bright!
