Spring Centerpiece

Hello everyone! I know, I know, I’ve been missing since my spring tour. Things have been busy here, and with the craziness and uncertainty that has ensued with quarantines and closures, I’ve tended to focus on instagram. Anyhoo — I wanted to share this sweet little centerpiece.

I’m a firm believer in using what you have and bringing in whatever is outside for a pretty accent, and this is a great example of that ingenuity.

I combined azalea blooms with Fuzzy Pride of Rochester and placed the bouquet in a vintage McCoy Brown Drip pitcher. I wanted something small to go alongside the antique oil lamp, and this just fit the bill.

You can see a peek of the pink Pyrex and Hazel Atlas Crinoline mixed with the brown and red I have, which is all tied together with the Kaufmann Queensland Crimson fabric. Fabric is definitely my top way to tie together elements and an inexpensive one as well.

This is just a simple centerpiece that brings in the outside, and is low enough to not impede conversation.

Aw, Anita, so pretty and cozy. I managed to have Daffy's on the counter for the whole month of April, but now, nothing is blooming yet. Hopefully the Viburnum will kick in in a week or so, worthy of a table shot! Always fun to see your colorful home! Sandi
