Apple Crisp

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup all-purpose Flour
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 c butter (softened)
  • 6 apples, peeled and sliced
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 375
  2. blend oats, flour and brown sugar into softened butter with fork or pastry cutter
  3. mix cinnamon and white sugar in a separate bowl
  4. peel and slice apples
  5. add half the apples to a greased casserole dish
  6. sprinkle half the cinnamon/sugar on top
  7. add remaining apples and sprinkle with remaining cinnamon/sugar
  8. spread crumble mixture over top evenly
  9. bake at 375 for around 40 minutes or until bubbly and golden brow on top
