Hi everyone! I’m sharing my living room decorated for spring using things I already had for a pretty big transformation!

I really wanted to use this overdyed rug I got from Unique Rugstore in Turkey back in 2014. It’s been in my girls’ room, but I really wanted to use it in the living room this spring. Something about this spring has me embracing the light and bright – open windows, white sheers blowing in the breeze and all that. This rug is not quite large enough for the living room so it needs to be layered, and since I sold the jute rug, I just used an inexpensive washable rug I had.

I kept a lot of my Native art, again just feeling a cabin/mountain vibe here, and added some plants as well as a favorite floral fabric.

I made all the pillow covers except the large white one, which I’ve had for years.

My parents brought me the southwestern wall hanging many years ago from either New Mexico or Arizona, and the blues, greens and tans really inspired the color palette.

The art my granddaddy framed in the 1930s also has the greens and blues I wanted to pull out.

I fell in love with the Waverly/PK Lifestyles “Fleuretta” fabric a few years ago when I bought a ladder back chair that had a cushion made from this fabric. I searched the internet and had it in my cart at Fabric Guru for a while, then someone bought it, and it suddenly was out of stock everywhere else as well.

I still love this beautiful Parma Leather Chesterfield from Valencia Theater Seating! It’s a classic and goes with everything.

I also made a pillow cover out of this Walmart plaid I’d bought a few years back to make fall bows with. I love how it brings the other colors together. I made the matelasse covers years ago.

I also made the throws as well from upholstery fabric and have had them for years.

I love how it turned out, and although it’s different than what I’ve had lately, I just pulled out things that were packed away. Somethings you just need to move things around for a fresh look, and that always makes me appreciate my rooms in a whole new way.
I have a new video on the channel with some beautiful and relaxing footage of our property here as well as some of mother’s azaleas and more of the spring living room. Thanks for stopping by friends!!

The oldest ones I have start out white, changing to pink and almost red. I wait for them all year . Lovely posting and happiest of Spring to you !

Thank you so much!!
Hello from Michigan. Love the light lacy curtains and the collection of pretty pillows though I can’t for the life of me (and husband) keep them on the sofas! We have lots of trillium here and it is a protected native wildflower which looks so pretty along the roads. I also noticed all the butterflies visiting your azalias? Just lovely. More plants are beginning to mature here and I can’t wait till the flowers are blooming. The bluebirds, orioles and hummingbirds are back so I am one happy country girl. You take care.
