Hello friends! I’m sharing a cozy fall kitchen refresh and a favorite fall recipe! I actually was using the blue floral fabric I’ve used the past several years, but decided to get out this brown Kaufmann “Dahana” that I found about three years ago.

I bought this remnant from Fabric guru, and since there was only about a yard and 1/2, I didn’t do anything with it.

I decided to get it out and use it and had enough to make a sink skirt and some cafe curtains. I really wanted a coordinating fabric but couldn’t find anything since we don’t have fabric stores here now, and couldn’t find anything I liked online either. I finally found a blanket in the same plaid of the pillow covers I bought a few months ago, so I made curtains out of that.

I wanted to use my 1970’s Merry Mushroom, and I just love how it looks with the brown drip!! So perfect for fall!

Of course, I gathered leaves from outside and just tried to keep things as simple as is possible for me😊

I love this painting that I believe is just mod-podged to plywood from the 70s. I think my aunt Jody gave this to my parents – but I’ll have to ask my mother to be sure.

I brought more of my “Brown-ware” to my little “Waltons” shelf.

Luis made and installed all the built-ins here in the pantry/laundry a couple years ago, and this has become a favorite space.

The crocks hold chicken feed and cat food😁

Although our leaves are really late because of the extreme heat this year, I did find some pretty ones to use. My mother brought in beautiful maple branches to decorate our dining room when my grandparents celebrated their 50th Anniversary in the 70s, and I always thought that was the most beautiful thing, so I try to do the same every fall.

The vintage floral fabric is a Waverly pattern my mother gave me. She has it in three colors.

I found this huge vintage Turner Home Accessories print on ebay for $20. I’ve been looking for one forever, so I could not believe I found one for that price.

I love how my kitchen turned out, and I’m trying to embrace every bit of my favorite season😊 Now, hopefully the leaves will change and we can enjoy the beautiful fall colors we are used to here.
There’s a video on the channel, so be sure to check that out!
