White Christmas

Hi everyone! I am SO late with my tablescape, but better late than never!
I am linking up with Susan over at “Between Naps on the Porch” and “Tablescape Thursday.”
I saw someone on “Rate My Space” use a vintage doily with a hurricane lamp and it reminded me of some things I had to use for a table. It all started with a beautiful doily my grandmother crocheted for me years ago.  I wanted to do something with white and silver…so here it is…
It all started with this beautiful doily that my grandmother made…
Then I added this antique silver oil lamp that belonged to my great grandfather…
Then I used these vintage silver chargers…
And some white china my mom had…
Vintage napkins, silverplate goblets from Spain, and the “Louvre” sterling flatware by Wallace…
And dining by candlelight…
There is definitely a mix of old and new on this table, and I think it’s one of my favorite because I usually use a lot of color.
Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you enjoyed my “White Christmas” and perhaps found some ideas for using something old you have around your house!!
