Hi everyone! I’m excited to share my fall front porch today! We have had amazing fall-like weather here in the mountains, so I decided to go ahead and decorate the front porch, even though I have always waited until the leaves changed in the past.

As usual, I didn’t go out and buy “fall decor” from a store, but used pumpkins, gourds and corn stalks from the garden as well as marigolds, sunflowers and goldenrod form the yard.

I’m still using the bows I made from fabric a few years back. I just rip or cut with pinking sheers strips of fabric then fold and tie them together just like you would do using regular ribbon. I like to add burlap ribbon and raffia for an organic feel.

I made these pillow covers several years ago and love the festive fall colors.

I gathered flowers and placed them in a vase down inside the wagon wheel hub.

I bought the plaid scarf years ago and split it in half – the other half is in the kitchen😁

I’m loving how the rugs I got last summer also work with these fall colors! My rugs were really worn out on the porch so I’m hoping these last as long as the old ones did.

My corn stalks were especially pretty this year – so I added some to the porch entrance.

I’ve had the solar lanterns for a while, because we don’t have electric in the yard, so these usually hang on the storage, but I brought them out here for fall.

I’m really enjoying this beautiful weather and having the porch decorated – and clean😁 – before the leaves turn. I like to soak in every bit of my favorite season – especially outside, because it’s so short.
I’ve uploaded a video with behind the scenes and a cute surprise on my channel, so be sure to check that out! Thanks for stopping by!

All SO GOOD! Love every single picture..and your picts are always beautiful. And I love your fall “Bows” !!! Any hints on how to keep raccoons off your porch with the cornstalks? The animals seem to love my fall decor!

Thank you Alda!! I’ve never had an issue, but I guess because of the Norwegian Elkhound, (who recently passed away sadly) and now my cat keeps everything away🙂
Everything is fixed beautiful! I couldn’t have real flowers and pumpkins because of rabbits and squirrels 😁

Thank you!! We live in the woods, and I’ve never had an issue on the porch with animals bothering the corn or pumpkins, thankfully🙂
I always enjoy your posts and seeing your home and the beautiful area where you live. I too use things I find in my yard to decorate with, your porch is a wonderful place to sit and enjoy the mornings. I have a screened-in porch and love to sit and enjoy nature and read my bible, it’s so peacful.
The perfect place for porch sitting!

Stunning! And inspirational – I don’t mind saying my home is cosier and more colourful thanks to this blog. Here in Europe I don’t have a wonderful porch space like this, but you’ve inspired me (again!) to add a little welcoming touch to the front of my house. Not easy, as my front door opens straight onto the street.
