Tex-Mex Dip and a Cheese Ball recipe for easy and quick entertaining!

Hi everyone, I’m sharing these super easy and yummy recipes over on my channel! If you need a last minute snack for family and friends, these are tried and true😊

Cheese Ball

Ingredients
  

  • 2 8 oz packages cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 20 oz can crushed pineapple (well drained)
  • ½ cup chopped bell pepper
  • ½ cup chopped onion
  • 1 tsp seasoning salt
  • 1/4 cup parsley flakes
  • 1 cup crushed pecans

Method
 

  1. After draining pineapple, drain again on paper towels or squeeze in cheesecloth to remove juice.
  2. Mix first five ingredients well and form into two balls.
  3. Roll in pecans and parsley flakes.
  4. Wrap each ball in wax paper and refrigerate.
  5. Serve with crackers of choice; club, truscuit, wheat thins, etc.

Tex-Mex Dip

Ingredients
  

  • 2 packages Tortilla Chips
  • 1 cup Sour Cream
  • ½ cup Mayo
  • 1 package Taco Seasoning
  • 2 cans Jalapeño Bean Dip
  • 1 bunch green onions and tops, chopped
  • 2 medium tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 8 oz shredded cheese colby jack, fiesta blend or any Mexican blend
  • 1 16 oz Guacamole can be homemade or deli as well
  • 1 6 oz can Black Olives, chopped

Equipment

  • 1 9 x 12 pan or cake plate, etc.

Method
 

  1. In a bowl, mix mayo, sour cream and taco seasoning
  2. Assemble in layers: Spread Bean dip
  3. Spread Guacamole
  4. Spread sour cream mixture
  5. Sprinkle with onions, tomatoes, black olives and top with shredded cheese
